|Algomej (Celebes x Algonkina)|
This morning, May 31, I went to the stables to see the wonderful newborn colt. When I returned home, I saw Algomej,, talking 'with her best friend Wełtawą and her filly after Ganges
He loved to hang out with his boxing and chatting,, '' the colts, sometimes licking them until they were completely wet. I smiled to myself, thinking that he is happy. Half an hour later he was dead. His great and noble heart just stopped ...
From what I know, Algomej was one of the last sons of the great Celebes. He was also the last son of the extraordinary Algonkian. He was 31 years.
Bred by Janow Podlaski in Poland accounted for several years. Then, in exchange for a stallion Probat
,was leased to Sweden. There, in 1980, won the title of National Champion Stallion. In Sweden, left many excellent foals, including the stallion Algorytmbreeding stud in Blommeröd. Algomej full sister was excellent Algeria
,who passed away two years ago. Algeria was the Polish Champion Mare. her daughters Almeria
& Algebra Algonkian family continue to represent Canterbury Farm.

Algomej returned from Sweden to Polish and in 1985, during the Polish Championships, along with the stallion Penitent won the same number of points. They stood nose-to-nose. Divided the audience cheered their favorites: bay Kuhailan and silver-gray Saklavi stallions so different in type, yet so wonderful. Finally won Penitent, as received higher scores for type, while Algomej fell better in motion. Polish Algomej was Reserve Champion Stallion.
Among his offspring are, inter alia, Deficyt, sold for the sum of US $ 609,000, Algonkian -which is now owned by Joe Malloy, Epizod, Estyma (535.000 USD), Ejnia excellent mother and stud Elleida. Continues the family Algomej Canterbury Farm is his son Gauguin. His blood runs in the veins of a 7 daughters, who left in the stud.

Algomej relatively late, at the age of 17 years, was sold to the United States. In my hands hit the age of 24 years and was with me until the end. Its fertility ought to fall with age, but in the first year covered 16 mares 15 foals were born, and since then even more. A few years ago, became the breeding,, retirement ', but certainly not lost interest in the opposite sex,,' '. Every morning, watching the parade of mares and foals come out of the pasture, and then in the evening - returning to the stables. Leaning out, sniffed and neighed to passing. He had a strong constitution, was healthy and well presented - with shiny hair, good appearance and twinkling eyes ... until the end.
He was 31 years. He will be missed in the Polish Arabian horse breeding, especially here. He was an excellent stallion, representative of the type of Polish Kuhailan.
