BELLONA was a very lovable mare did not leave you indifferent. Despite her advanced age, she still had a certain presence. She captivated me look. It was a fantastic mare. She was of the caliber of the great "Queen of poland." And this is evident in its descendence. I had the chance to see in the month of January 2015 in the beautiful stud lutetia arabians (fr) who was the owner of BELLONA. Hélène thank you for allowing me to meet her. This meeting will forever anchored in my memory. I know the last years of his life were very beneficial to Lutecia arabians (FR) stud. She has received much love from Helen, as well as those grooms who look after them well every day. But the story does not end there, since BELLONA has given the beautiful girl belladona (Europejczyk), which has produced the stunning BELGICA (Gazal Al Shaqab x Belladonna), but also Bellanda (Pilot Belladonna x) Lutetia owner arabians.
BELLONA left an important genetic heritage, but the most beautiful of these girls will BELLADONA ( Europejczyk)
BELLADONA a classic Kuhailan beauty who defines the world-famous type of her maternal stud, BELLADONA represents the rare opportunity to be the very best combination of outstanding good looks and impeccable genetics. Revered by Arabian breeders around the world for her remarkable ability to bless subsequent generations with her superior characteristics, BANDOLA has gained immortal status through her best offspring, including BANDOS, BANAT and BEATRICE, Polish Oaks winner to whom BELLADONA traces directly tail female. In keeping with tradition, BELLADONA has gifted her maternal stud with six exceptional progeny, including five outstanding daughters. And now the owner to BELLADONA is LUTECIA ARABIANS (FR) which a part of Polish breeding history and to share in the prosperity.
BELGICA A champion mare from a family of historically celebrated equines, dam of two show stars with plenty of active years ahead of her on the show arena and in the breeding barn - Belgica was at the 2013 Pride of Poland collection. sale for 410.000Euros.
Belgica’s show career is truly impressive, especially since the crop of 2003 included none other than PIANISSIMA & ETNOLOGIA. As a yearling Belgica placed third in class at the Polish Nationals (behind the mentioned arch-nemeses PIANISSIMA & ETNOLOGIA). Her two year old season encompassed a fourth spot at the Junior Spring Show, A Junior Reserve Championship title at the Bełżyce show, a class win at the Falborek show and a strong second at the Polish Nationals with a sky-high total score of 93,33 (again behind ETNOLOGIA). As a matter of fact on all these occasions Belgica was awarded with scores of 90 or above.
Among Belgica’s numerous performances as a senior the most important include class top fives at the European Championships and All Nations Cup, a Senior Top Five title from the Polish Nationals (where she finally bested her eternal rival ETNOLOGIA) and ultimately - a Senior Champion Mare/Best in Show title from the Autumn Show in Janów Podlaski, an event where just minutes earlier her daughter BERENIKA was crowned Junior Reserve Champion.
Because as much as she is beautiful, Belgica is first and foremost a stellar producer. Her first, BELOS, was a capable athlete with a money-earning finish in the Arabian Produce (Janów Podlaski) St. Her second, BERENIKA, is mirroring her dam’s achievements, with a second spot at the Polish Nationals, a third at the Junior Spring Show, and two titles from the Autumn Show in Janów Podlaski - a Bronze & Silver Junior Championship claimed year after year. Belgica’s third produce, BERNADETTA, is also on her way to stardom, with class top fives from the Junior Spring Show, the Polish Nationals & the Autumn Show currently on her roster.
Belgica is a direct female descendant of the legendary BANDOLA, a sister to US icon BASK and dam of epoch-making chief sires BANDOS & BANAT. This historic heritage is further amplified in Belgica by her sire Gazal Al Shaqab, perhaps the most influential name in the modern era of Arabian horse breeding.
